PURPOSE:To control transmission action of heat by a solenoid valve of small outputs and also completely stop the transmission action of heat by a method in which the upper ends of a cooling section and a heating section with a wick structure are connected, and the lower ends of them are also connected through the solenoid valve. CONSTITUTION:A heating section A having a wick 12 inside and a jacket 13 through which a heat medium for heating is passed on its periphery and a cooling section B having a jacket 14 through which a heat medium for cooling is passed on its periphery are set with a spacing on right and left sides. The upper ends of both the heating and cooling sections A and B are connected with a pipe 19 and the lower ends are connected with a pipe 20 with a solenoid valve 18 to make up an enclosed loop X. A working liquid is confined in the enclosed loop X in such a way that the lower end 12a of the wick 12 is positioned in the liquid L stored in the lower part of the loop X when the solenoid valve 18 is opened for transmission action of heat. Since the flow of the working liquid is interrupted by the valve 18 provided in the pipe 20 where the wick 12 is not present, the flow can be completely interrupted, and also since little pressure difference is present between the heating section a and the cooling section B when closing the valve 18, the valve 18 can be opened with small outputs. |
