PURPOSE:To enhance the working efficiency in a building for a turbine during disassembly of the turbine, by arranging a moisture separator or a moisture separating and heating unit at a level below the level of a turbine installation floor surface. CONSTITUTION:A turbine building 1 for housing therein a turbine 3 serving as main equipment for a nuclear power plant, is constructed on a concrete base 2, and a condenser 6 and a supply water heater 8 are arranged in the lower section of the turbine 3. In this arrangement the turbine 3 is laid on a turbine installation floor 5 in the turbine building 1, and a moisture separator 4 is arranged in a floor opening section 20 which is formed in the floor 5 and adapted to be closed by a moisture separator cover 11, and is laid at a level below the level of the floor 5. With this arrangement, it is possible to aim at effectively utilizing a dead space in the turbine building, and to disassemble and inspect turbine components without hindrance by the moisture separator 4.
