PURPOSE:To eliminate such operations for turning-on and -off of a power supply and change of channels that are needed individually and originally at the terminal side, by using the 2nd means of each terminal as well as transmission data sent from the 1st means of a primary station to perform the turning-on and -off of the power supply at each terminal and the change of program channels. CONSTITUTION:A primary station 20 decides the type of operation to be performed at each terminal based on terminal control information 31 as well as televising control information 30 supplied from outside and then produces the transmission data 32 of a prescribed format. The data 32 includes an individual address 32a of the receiver terminal, the terminal power supply control data 32b that indicates the turning-on and -off of the terminal power supply, and terminal program channel data 32c which indicates a specific programs channel. Then the data 32 is sent to the terminals 21-23 respectively via a communication channel 24. Each of those terminals 21-23 receive the reception data including the individual addresses 40a-42a of the terminal 21, the terminal power supply control data 40b-42b, and the terminal program channel data 40c-42c and then perform the processing based on the decoding results respectively.
