PURPOSE:To secure the clear telephone voices by connecting a voice basic frequency converting means during the receiver part of a speech circuit of a telephone set to control the pitch and the sound volume of the received voice signals. CONSTITUTION:The voice signals received from the remote side are supplied to a pitch converter 22 within a speech circuit 21 and then converted into voices at a receiver 4 to reach the ear of a subscriber. if it is hard for the subscriber to hear the reproduced voices of the calling subscriber, a knob, a dial, etc., operated for the control of pitch controller 23 and a voice volume controller 24 of the converter 22. Thus the low-pitched voice quality of the calling subscriber is improved to an easy-to-hear range of voice. Furthermore the insufficient sound volume of the calling subscriber's voices is converted into a normal sound level. Thus the speech contents of opposite party is cleared.
