PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration in the function of a photosensitive body by toner filming by forming a toner of low mol.wt. olefin polymer dispersed and incorporated with metallic oxide particles and toner particles. CONSTITUTION:The powder formed by dispersing the metallic oxide having a polishing property into the low mol.wt. olefin polymer which itself has a release property is externally added to the toner particles. The metallic oxide to be dispersed into the low mol.wt. olefin polymer is exemplified by SiO2, TiO2, Al2O3, Fe2O4, CeO2, etc. The average grain size of the metallic oxide particles is <=3mum, more preferably 0.05-1mum. The cleaning performance of the toner particles on a photosensitive body is thereby improved and the deterioration of the photosensitive body by the excessive polishing thereof is obviated. The toner filming is thus prevented. |
