<p>PURPOSE:To prevent deterioration in running performance, and to perform a reel-driven tape run stably at a specified speed, by arranging a friction gear train in parallel to a gear train transmitting the power of a driving motor to a reel shaft member. CONSTITUTION:The power of a driving motor 15 is transmitted from a small gear 25 and a friction gear 26 to a large gear 23 and a friction gear 24 through a motor shaft 14 respectively, and further to a reel shaft member 5. When a tape speed is lower than a specified speed, the output torque of the driving motor 15 is increased through the operation of a control circuit and when the tape speed is higher, the output torque of the driving motor 15 is decreased to reduce the transmission power of the gear train and friction gear train. The gear train principally transmits necessary force for tape driving, but the transmission system consisting of friction gear trains 24 and 26 is provided in parallel to the gear train, so gears in the gear trains 23 and 25 never separate during deceleration to perform control without nonlinearity between the reel shaft member 5 and motor shaft 14.</p> |
