FORCED COOLING CONTINUOUS CASTING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To perform a directional solidification more efficiently by providing the refrigerant feeding device which links with a coupler to each cooling station. CONSTITUTION:A cooling feed device 18 is provided on the molten metal feed station of the casting line main body and each cooling station. A cooling medium is fed to a refrigerant pipe from a refrigerant pipe 49 by linking the coupler 41 provided on the cooling pipe of a cooling plate 31 by descending the mouth piece 47 of the cylinder 46 fixed to the line main body in the arrow mark direction adequately. In each cooling stage, the directional solidification is performed with good efficiency by blowing out the refrigerant to the lower die from the cooling medium blowout device provided at the main body side of the casting line.
