PURPOSE:To reduce harmfulness to non-smokers around a smoker, by receiving the side flow smoke directly emitting from the lit part at the leading end of tobacco by a filter having a two-layered structure. CONSTITUTION:A filter is constituted of a two-layered structure wherein the lower stage layer of a bottom surface directly receiving smoke has a coarse mesh and an intermediate stage layer has a fine and dense mesh. This filter is connected to tobacco by a tobacco passing pipe in order to suck harmful side flow smoke issued from tobacco (smoke directly emitted from the lit part at the leading end of the tobacco). Therefore, the side flow smoke emitted from the tobacco is prevented from spreading to surroundings and harm to other people can be reduced.
