PURPOSE:To enable a ventilation of room air to be performed while a function of window is left as it is by a method wherein ventilation means is arranged for moving or replacing air within two spaces partitioned by a light accepting body mounted on a frame and by the frame. CONSTITUTION:An oxygen concentration sensor is used as a sensor 16 and if a switch 18 is set at its automatic position, a stove 1 is continuously ignited to cause a concentration of oxygen in a room to be decreased, a signal is sent from the sensor 16 to a control means 14 before the value shows a dangerous concentration, a motor 13 is driven to perform a discharging and a suction to automatically keep the room air at a safe concentration of oxygen. When a receiving sensor is used as a sensor 16, a state in which the stove 1 already starts to burn is transmitted from the receiving sensor 16 to the control means 14. The control means 14 may drive the motor 13 at once for 1min every time a 30min is elapsed so as to perform a discharging or sucking of the air and perform an automatic ventilation of room air.
