PURPOSE:To facilitate manufacture by providing a cover case with engaging pieces engaged with an adjust cam portion for adjusting spring load, which comprise blanking pieces formed at the time of blanking a lot of turning holes in the cover case. CONSTITUTION:A buffer is formed by interposing a coiled spring 3 between a spring bearing 8 fixed to piston rod 4 side of a piston 2 fitted in a cylinder 1 where working oil is sealed and a spring bearing 7 fixed to the cylinder 1 side. The spring bearing 7 is supported by a cylindrical adjust cam member 9 fitted to the outside of the cylinder 1, and the cam member 9 is supported by a stopper 11 fixed to the cylinder 1. Engaging pieces 14 of a cover case 10 are engaged with notches 12a of a flange 12 integral with the upper end of the adjust cam member 9 to fix the cover case 10. In this case, the engaging pieces 14 comprise blanking pieces formed at the time of blanking turning holes 13 useful for turning the adjust cam member 9 in the peripheral direction. |
