PURPOSE:To prevent freezing in winter season by a method wherein a temperature before the freezing of a water feeding pipe and a hot-water supplying pipe is detected by a thermosensor whereby the supply of water, the stop of hot-water supply, water discharging of the feed water pipe as well as the hot-water supplying pipe and the supply of reduced-pressure water for an auxiliary heat source are switched freely reversibly. CONSTITUTION:A water supplying and discharging switching valve 20, a hot-water supplying and discharging switching valve 21 and a reduced-pressure water switching valve 22 are connected by a valve shaft 23. When a thermosensor 24 detects an atmospheric temperature before freezing a water feeding pipe and a water discharging pipe, the supply of water and hot-water is stopped before freezing the water feeding pipe 45 and the hot-water supplying pipe 46, water discharging of said both pipes and the switching of reduced-pressure water feeding to an auxiliary heat source 51 such as a boiler or the like are effected by a driving source 25 such as a motor equipped with a reduction gear, which is operated by the city power source of 100V, by turning the valve shaft 23 by 90 deg.. When the atmospheric temperature has risen and a water heater has become possible to use it, the supply of water, hot-water and reduced-pressure water is stopped.
