PURPOSE:To fabricate an interior trim with high ranking external appearance by a simple process wherein the neighborhood of the melt cutting-off part of a predetermined portion, which is to be removed after the melt cutting-off of a skin material, is cut-off in advance. CONSTITUTION:A decorative moquette (woven cloth) 2 is pasted with adhesive on a base material 1 consisting of the core material of a door trim and a padding material. A laminated piece 6 is produced by covering a skin material 5, which is formed by pasting an expanded layer on the rear surface of a heavy-gage resin sheet 3. The neighborhood of the melt cutting-off part of the predetermined portion 7, which is to be removed by the melt-cutting-off of the skin material 5 of the laminated piece 6, is cut-off with a cutting blade 8. After that, the predetermined portion 7 of the skin material is removed by applying high frequency waves with an electrode 10 for simultaneous melt welding and melt cutting-off, on one side of which the blade-like projection 9 of a high frequency melt-welder is equipped and which is pushed from above onto the laminated piece 6. According to the above-mentioned simultaneous melt welding and melt cutting-off, the laminated piece such as an interior trim with favorable aesthetic feeling and little laid flocking of cloth can be obtained. |
