<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a picture of good picture quality in comparison with the correction by a remote picture element of the same phase by synthesizing the neighboring picture element of strong correlation and correcting it at the correction of an invalid picture element. CONSTITUTION:An input system passes on shift registers 1-3 and FIFO buffers 4, 5. The capacity of the FIFO buffers 4, 5 is set so as to dispose 8 horizontal, vertical and diagonal neighboring picture element data in three shift registers 1-3. After the shift operation of the shift register and one of the FIFO buffers, 9 picture element data is read. They are central picture element data and the 8 neighboring picture element data. The central picture element data is fed to a selection circuit 4. The two vertical neighboring picture element data is fed to an adder 6. The other 6 picture element data as shown is, in the sets of the horizontal, the diagonal 2 and the diagonal 1, respectively fed to adder- subtracters 7-9. Subsequently, the double value of a luminance signal is obtained by a summation operation, then, a modified value is obtained by subtracting a signal of opposite phase.</p> |
