PURPOSE:To provide the titled apparatus capable of cooling only required cooling part on steel plate surface, by jetting cooling water to region surrounding a steel plate surface from nozzles provided thereto and draining the cooling water after jetting from inside of the region. CONSTITUTION:Cooling water supplied 5 into a nozzle header 4 is jetted from each part of the surface frame shaped nozzle 6 to inside of surrounding region by a prescribed jetting angle alpha, and blasted to upper surface of the steel plate W to cool the upper surface. Cooling water blasted to the plate W is stored in a water reservoir 7, and it overflows from a draining hole 9, cooling water overflowing through a ditch 10 is discharged to outside on the plate W. Consequently, only surface of the plate W limited in surrounding region can be cooled. In this case, flow speed, flow quantity of cooling water from the nozzle 6 can freely be restricted and high cooling rate is obtd. Action of cooling mechanism provided to under surface of the plate W is similar to upper surface of the plate W. |
