SOLID LUBRICATIVE COMPOSITE MATERIAL AND ITS PRODUCTION

摘要

PURPOSE:To lower the specific wear rate of a composite material and the coefft. of friction and to improve the strength by forming a prescribed massive phase contg. a lubricative substance as the principal component in the composite material and by feeding the lubricative substance in the form of a film to the contact surface of the composite material to be brought into contact with an opposite material. CONSTITUTION:Power of <30mum particle size contg. a lubricative substance as the principal component is granulated to form composite granules. The composite granules are mixed with powder for forming a binding phase and the mixture is compacted and sintered in a nonoxidizing atmosphere to obtain a sintered body consisting of 10-80wt% massive phase and the balance metal- base binding phase. The massive phase is composed of plural particles of <30mum particle size contg. the lubricative substance as the principal component has 30-1,000mum size.
