发明名称 METHOD FOR ADJUSTING QUALITY OF GAS PRODUCED IN MELT REDUCTION FURNACE
摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To adjust the quality of the gas produced in a melt reduction furnace for iron making to the quality suitable for preliminary reduction without requiring a heat resistant installation and the installation of a shaft furnace type to be exclusively used by adding H2O and gaseous hydrocarbon to the produced gas and adjusting the addition ratio thereof. CONSTITUTION:The H2O and gaseous hydrocarbon are added to the gas produced in the melt reduction furnace and the addition ratio of the H2 and gaseous hydrocarbon is adjusted at the time of successively conveying said gas to a preliminary reduction furnace and the melt reduction furnace and reducing iron ore. Steam is blown to the gas produced in the melt reduction furnace in this case, then the temp. of the gaseous mixture decreases and the concn. of CO2 increases to decrease the reduction potential with an increase in the amt. of the hydrogen to be added. The temp. of the gaseous mixture decreases similarly and the reduction potential increases with an increase in the amt. of the gaseous CH4 if the hydrocarbon, for example, gaseous CH4 is blown together with the steam to said gas. The gas of the temp. and reducing power suitable for introduction into the preliminary reduction furnace is thus obtd. by adjusting the addition ratio of the steam and CH4.</p>
