PURPOSE:To enable the gap between a medium and a printing head to be easily adjusted finely, by arranging a multiplicity of fixed fastening points on cycloids constituting moving paths of fastening points of an operating lever, CONSTITUTION:Gears 11 are fixed to both ends of a carrier shaft 3, and racks 10 engaged with the gears 11 are provided in a fixed state. An operating lever 15 fixed to an end part of the shaft 3 is provided with fastening points 16-18 deviated from the center of the gear, and a multiplicity of fixed fastening points 19-21 to be elastically engaged with the fastening points 16-18 are arranged on cycloids constituting moving paths of the fastening points 16-18 of the lever 15. The gears 11 turned together with the lever 15 and the shaft 3 are caused to roll on the racks 10, thereby moving the tip of a printing head provided on a carrier 2 toward and away from a medium. Since the rolling distance of the gears 11 can be made smaller than the interval of the fixed fastening points 19-21 arranged on the cycloids, it is unnecessary to set the arranging pitch of the fastening points 19-21 to be extremely small. |
