PURPOSE:To prevent the life of a brush from being shortened by mechanical abrasion, by providing a member impregnated with 2-cyclohexyl=cyclohexanol in a motor case equipped with the brush. CONSTITUTION:A small-sized motor is composed of a rotor core 18 over which the magnet wire 17 is wound around and a field magnet 19 fixed to the interior of a motor case 20. This motor is equipped with a commutator segment 4, a brush 13 and a commutator pedestal 5. At this moment, felt 16 is impregnated with 2-cyclohexyl=cyclohexanol and is provided in the motor case 20, by which the atmosphere of that vapour is prevailing inside the case 20. Thus the lubricating action works on the surfaces of the brush 13 and the segment 4, so that the abnormal abrasion of the slidingly contacted surface can be prevented.
