A sealed magnetic contact device comprises a plurality of contact sets 4, 5 in a common casing 1 separated from one another by partitions 2 of the casing. The casing comprises two identical halves 12, 13 of ceramic cemented or fused together along surface 16. The halves of the casing 12, 13 are glazed at their areas of contact with each other and with terminals 6, 7 of contacts 4, 5 to ensure adequate sealing. The partitions 2 strengthen the casing 1 and by their engagement with contacts 4, 5, determine the contact gap. The casing 1 may alternatively be made of glass. |
