PURPOSE:To suppress generation of a useless alarm, by increasing a predetermined bearing temperature by a predetermined degree higher only for a predetermined time when a stop instruction is given to a water-turbine generator. CONSTITUTION:An alarm signal is output from a bearing temperature detector 1 via a comparator 2. A water-turbine generator respectively sets an alarm level AL1 in normal time by a setter SE1 and an alarm level AL2 in stop instruction time by a setter SE2. The generator, if it is given a stop instruction, switches the slarm level to the level AL2 as in the drawing to be increased slightly higher than that in normal time, and a useless alarm can be avoided.
