PURPOSE:To perform maintenance such as oil change automatically by arranging a specific gravity sensing means at the bottom of an oil pan thereby discharging for a specified duration lubricant oil when its specific gravity exceeds a specified value and replenishing new lubricant oil. CONSTITUTION:At the bottom part of an oil pan 2 is provided with a drain valve 4 comprising a housing 5 fixed in a liquid-tight condition, an opening/ closing valve 8 arranged via a spring 7 in a valve chamber 6 within the housing 5, a solenoid 9 for opening/closing the opening/closing valve 8 and a switch 10 to be switched when the opening/closing valve moves downward. The spring force of the spring 7 is set so that the opening/closing valve 8 moves downward and opens when lubricant oil in the oil pan 2 deteriorates and its specific gravity becomes 0.95 or greater. At that time, the switch 10 is turned on to maintain an open condition of the opening/closing valve 8 for a specified duration by means of a solenoid 9 controlled with a CPU and to supply lubricant oil from a tank 15 via a pump 17. |
