NEW MATERIAL:A 5-fluorouracil derivative shown by formula I (R<1> is H or 1-3C alkyl; R<2> is acyl derived from linoleic acid, triene higher fatty acid or pentaene higher fatty acid). EXAMPLE:1-[2-(9,12,15-Octadecatrienoylamino)ethoxy]methyl-5-fluorouracil. USE:A carcinostatic agent, and an inhibitor of blood platelet aggregation and further a preventive against thrombosis, cancer metastasis, etc. PREPARATION:2,4-Ditrimethylsilyloxy-5-fluoro-pyrimidine is condensed with a compound shown by formula II, the subjected to azide formation reaction with sodium azide and further subjected to reaction using both the above- mentioned higher fatty acid and triphenylphosphine to give a compound shown by formula I.
