Device for the automatic handling of boards, particularly printed circuit boards, of the endless conveyor type equipped with transverse small bars delimiting compartments receiving the boards deposited on edge, characterised in that the said small bars 12 comprise a base 12" equipped with spaced hinge knuckles 18, 18', such that the hinge knuckles of one base are positioned between the hinge knuckles of the base of the adjacent small bar, the assembly being produced with the aid of pins 20, 20' passing through the respectively aligned hinge knuckles, so that the whole has the configuration of an endless conveyor. <IMAGE>
