The invention relates to a device for freeing and mechanically ejecting a dental preparation (die: dental preparation made of plaster reinforced with a metal needle, called a pin). It is a plaster cutter. It consists: - of a rod 1 having an orifice 16, - of a cutting head 9, - of a percussion unit 10-10 bis for variant B. Its function is to hollow out of the base of the plaster mould a regular ovoid bowl around the needle. Variants A and B furthermore allow the die to be ejected: - first by using the percussive effect of a handpiece, - the second by using the percussion system inside the cutter 10-10 bis. The device according to the invention is intended for professionals in dental prosthesis laboratories. <IMAGE>
