PURPOSE:To simplify the production process by setting a magnetic sensor close to the magnetic recording part of a disc-shaped rotary drum onto which magnets are arranged with N and S poles set alternately, between a motor and a fan and using a rotary encoder shaft in the recording part as the revolution shaft of the fan. CONSTITUTION:In a multiblade fan 2 directly connected with a motor 1, a rotary drum 3 having a magnetic recording part in which magnets 4 are arranged with the N and S poles arranged alternately on the peripheral side surface of the rotary drum is installed between the motor 1 and the fan 2, and a rotary encoder shaft 5 onto which the rotary drum is installed is used as the rotary shaft of the fan 2. A magnetic sensor 6 is installed closely to the rotary drum 3 having the magnetic recording paer in which the magnets 4 are arranged with the N and S poles set alternately, and the number of revolution of the fan 2 is detected by the sensor 6, and the number of revolution is controlled by the feedback signals. With such constitution, the rotary fan 2 having the encoder function can be obtained only by connecting the motor 1 with the fan through the simple production process, and the productivity can be improved.
