The present invention relates to novel complexes, a method for preparing them and their application as food additives. The complexes comprise a mixture of amino acids which originate from a source of proteins of animal or vegetable origin and which are chelated by at least one metal. Application, in particular, to the feeding of animals with a trace-element (micronutrient) deficiency.
