摘要 PURPOSE:To measure the viscosity of printing ink during the operation of a sheet printer by providing the printer with detectors for ink film thickness, a load, and a speed and a controller in combination. CONSTITUTION:A swing speed detector 20 is provided to the 4th arrival-side kneading roller 6 so as to measure the viscosity of the ink and a timing pulse detector 21 is also provided so as to sample the speed at any time. Further, an ink film thickness and water content gauge 19 detect the thickness of an ink film on the kneading roller 6. Further, a thrust load detector 17 and a radial load detector 18 which press the kneading roller 6 against a rubber roller 16 to detect a thrust force and a radial force detect the load placed on the roller 16. Consequently, an ink film thickness signal I, a radial load signal W, a thrust load signal F, a swing speed signal V, and a timing signal TG are passed through signal amplifiers 22-26 and converted by an A/D converter, and an arithmetic expression indicating the viscosity is processed by a controller 28 to outputs the result on a display device 29.
