The subject of the invention relates to the technical sector of hairdressing articles. The curler is noteworthy in that it comprises essentially two parts assembled together at the time of manufacture, namely: a hollow body 1 of general diabolo (dumb-bell) shape for example, and a flange 2 which is crimped via its hub 2a onto a cylindrical bearing surface 1b established at one end of the body, the said flange and the said body being arranged in order to receive and retain an elastic member 3 intended permanently to connect the body of the curler to a hairpin 4. <IMAGE>
