A supporting element (3) has in its end region one fastening foot (4) in each case which is mounted with its lower end on a boot lid (2). To permit releasable fastening to the latter, the fastening foot (4) is provided on its inside with a clamp clip (6), the upper angular section (16) of which interacts with a slideway (13) which is provided on the inside of the fastening foot (4) and extends at an outwardly open angle ( alpha ) of about 15 DEG to the longitudinal axis (7') of the tightening screw (7) which tightens the clamp clip (6) against the fastening foot (4), so that, when the tightening screw (7) has been tightened, the bend (17) in the clamp clip (6) is pressed against the underside of the boot lid (2) in which process the latter is pressed against the underside of the fastening foot (4). <IMAGE>
