A description is given of a motor vehicle with a folding top (2) which can be folded back and is fastened by its rear section (2a) to the vehicle body (1) in a manner such that it can be adjusted. The fastening takes place via a carrier plate (1) which is connected to the folding top (2) and is fastened via adjusting screws (5, 6, 7) to a bearing block (3) which is fixed to the body. The manner of the fastening allows carcass and folding-top tolerances to be compensated. <IMAGE>
