3,4-DIHYDRO-2H-BENZOPYRAN DERIVATIVES AND THEIR MEDICINAL USE

3,4-Dihydro-2H-benzopyran derivatives represented by general formula (I), (wherein n represents an integer of 0, 2 or 3, R represents a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic group selected from among (II), R<1> and R<2> each represents a hydrogen atom or an optionally substituted alkyl, aralkyl, arylalkenyl, aryl or acyl group, and R<3> represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group) and pharmacologically acceptable salts thereof. These compounds have an activity of inhibiting 5-lipoxigenase, anti-allergic effect, anti-histaminic effect, effect of preventing peroxidation of lipid, effect of inhibiting platelet agglutination, ect. and are useful as drugs for treating bronchial asthma, allergic disease, immune disease, inflammatory disease, Psoriasis vulgaris, brain blood trouble, ischemic disease, thrombosis, etc. Use of the compounds as drugs is also disclosed.
