PURPOSE:To update picture information easily and quickly by performing the key operation in a center equipment in accordance with prescribed procedures to transmit new picture information to a terminal equipment through a public telephone line and an exchange. CONSTITUTION:New picture information is inputted on a center equipment 13 in accordance with a prescribed key operation of a keyboard 4C while watching a display device 5C and is stored in a storage device 3C. When a transmission button on the keyboard 4C is depressed, a terminal equipment 1 is called and new picture information is transmitted to the equipment 1 through a public telephone line 14 and an exchange 15. The telephone number of the equipment 1 is stored preliminarily in the device 3C together with new picture information by the key operation of the keyboard 4C. Since picture information in the equipment 1 is updated through the line 14 and the exchange 15 by the equipment 13 in this manner, picture information is quickly and easily updated to the latest information in the equipment 1 and timely display of new picture information is possible. |
