PURPOSE:To obtain the compact device by positioning a pedal leg at a restoration position and the max. stepping-in position by a single stopper and attenuating the restoration operation speed of the pedal leg by the stopper, thus reducing the number of parts for the device. CONSTITUTION:A pedal leg 3 is rotatably supported onto a pedal supporting bracket 1 fixed onto a chassis, and turned in a prescribed stroke ranging from a restoration position to the max. stepping position. A return spring 7 for urging the pedal leg 3 in the direction of turn to the restoration position is installed, and a restoration suppressing means for suppressing the turn of the pedal leg 3 against the urging force is constituted of a ratchet teeth 5 and a ratchet hook 6. Further, the parking brake can be released by releasing the restoration suppressing means by a releasing cable 10. The pedal leg 3 is positioned at the restoration position and the max. stepping-in position by the stopper 11 of the positioning member, and the operation speed in restoration is attenuated by the frictional engagement with the pedal leg 3 in the range between the both positions. |
