PURPOSE:To reduce the intensity of an incident light when it is too high and avoid the deterioration of an amorphous solar battery by providing a luminous power control means which controls the incident light intensity on the upper part of the incident plane of the amorphous solar battery. CONSTITUTION:The electronic calculator 1 with an amorphous solar battery of the present invention is not different from a conventional electronic calculator with a solar battery from the appearance. An amorphous solar battery 2 is provided in the head part of the calculator 1 and the solar battery 2 is composed of a substrate 3 and an amorphous silicon layer 4 and a protective layer 5 laminated on the substrate 3 successively and further a dimming glass plate 6 is provided on those laminated layers. With this constitution, as the intensity of an incident light can be controlled, even if the calculator is used under the incident light of high intensity such as direct rays, the deterioration of the solar battery can be avoided. |
