PURPOSE:To enhance the function of an anti-slip means provided with flanged spike pins and the productivity thereof, by embedding an expandable fastening reinforcement for fastening the outer periphery of barrel of each flanged spike pin, in a pin attaching hole in each rib. CONSTITUTION:When a body rib 6 is formed, an expandable fastening reinforcement 18 is embedded in a spike pin attaching hole so that a it is integrally incorporated with the inner peripheral surface of the attaching hole. Further, a cone shape guide surface 22' of flange 22 of a spike pin 11 is pressed into a hole 19 in the rib 6 to open the hole 19 and an expandable fastening reinforcement 18, allowing the flange 22 to pass therethrough so that the outer periphery 20 of barrel of the spike pin 11 is fastened and secured by means of the recovery force of the expandable fastening reinforcement 18. At this time, the flange 21 of the spike pin 11 is made into close contact with the outer surface of the rib 2, and therefore, the spike pin 11 is secured. With this arrangement, it is possible to enhance the productivity and function of tire anti-slip means.
