PURPOSE:To obtain a polymer having improved electrical conductivity at 1atm. at <= room temperature in good workability and readily, by polymerizing carbon diselenide by electromagnetic wave irradiation. CONSTITUTION:Carbon diselenide is irradiated with electromagnetic wave and polymerized. Electromagnetic wave having 1,000-4,000Angstrom is used. A carbon diselenide polymer is doped to improve electrial conductivity and used. the polymerization is carried out at <=125-126 deg.C boiling point of carbon diselenide for >=3hr.
