<p>Low-temperature characteristics of an electrolytic capacitor and changes with time in the characteristics in a high-temperature environment are improved and the life of the capacitor is prolonged by using as a solute a quaternary ammonium salt of a carboxylic acid selected from the group consisting of phthalic, tetrahydrophthalic, hexahydrophthalic and maleic acids or an alkyl- or nitro-substituted derivative thereof.</p> |
