<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a small-sized and easily manufacturable bistable type high speed control solenoid which is not erroneously operated and mechanically displaced between two stable positions at a high speed by an electric signal by a method wherein two stable positions, whereon a movable core is attracted to the first or the second side plate, are provided. CONSTITUTION:Permanent magnets 7a and 7b are arranged in polarity, and when a current is not applied to a coil, it is attracted to the side of one side plate, namely, attracted to the side of a side plate 6A, for example. At this time, the side plate 6A has an N-pole, and a movable core 4 has an S-pole. At this point, when the N-pole is generated at the tip of the movable core 4 and the S-pole is generated on the end part of a bearing by applying an electric signal of the pulse width of 10ms or there about to the coil, repulsive force works on the side plate 6A and attracting force works on the side plate B, and the movable core 4 is separated from the side plate 6A and it is moved to the side of the side plate 6B. When the movable core 4 has passed the center position, the current is stopped already, and the movable core 4 is attracted to the side of the side plate 6B and it is held there. As above-mentioned, as both repulsive force and the attracting force are used simultaneously, the responding speed can be increased to a high degree, and the titled solenoid can be driven with the signal of small pulse width.</p> |
