PURPOSE:To aim at sure prevention for overheating, by detecting the value of current to a blower so that a burner is deenergized when the blower current value is out of a range between set values. CONSTITUTION:A heater is composed of a burner 2 including a combustion cylinder 4 and a combustion chamber 6 which is formed by being sectioned by a partition wall 5 on the top end side of the combustion cylinder 4 and a heat-exchanger 3 including an inner blind cylinder 13 and an outer blind cylinder 15 spaced from the inner blind cylinder 4 with a predetermined gap 14 therebetween. A heater blower 16 is disposed in the upper section of the outer blind cylinder 5, for introducing air from the outside into the gap 14 through an outside air introduction duct 17. A motor 31 for driving the above- mentioned blower 16 is connected with one end of a discriminating circuit 32 for detecting the value of current to the blower 16, and the burner 2 is connected to the other end of the circuit 32 through a control unit 33. When the operation of the blower 16 is abnormal, the supply of power to the control unit 33 is interrupted so that the burner 2 is at once deenergized, thereby it is possible to prevent overheating. |
