DRIVE CIRCUIT FOR MOTOR DRIVEN FOLDABLE DOOR MIRROR

PURPOSE:To obviate the continuous control of an operation member until the finish of door mirror motion to a predetermined position and enable the mirror to stop immediately whenever necessary during the erecting or folding motion thereof by providing a timer means in a motor drive circuit for erecting or folding the mirror. CONSTITUTION:Logical IC's 4 and 5, timer IC's 6 and 7 and transistors 8 and 9 to be turned 'ON' during the operation of the timer IC's 6 and 7 are provided on the way of a circuit connected to a mirror circuit 14 through the closing of a circuit between contact points 2 and 3 on the operation of an operation switch 1. Also, relays 10 and 11 are provided for changing over contact points 12 and 13 to an opposite side under excitation when the transistors 8 and 9 are 'ON'. A motor circuit 14 is built into a door mirror and connected to the contact points 12 and 13 for operation to let an electric current run from the point 12 to the point 13 or vice versa, thereby erecting or folding the door mirror without any continuous control of the operation switch 1 until the finish of mirror positioning. Also, the control of the operation switch 1 during the working of the timer enables a motor to stop and the door mirror to stop working immediately.
