PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for the retransmission from the 1st image data of a document by resending only the corresponding page if a fault takes place at the transmission in the titled stored and forward facsimile equipment. CONSTITUTION:A reception side communication control program equipment 5 compares the sending size in the unit of pages with the total sum of sending image data sizes and when they are dissident, it is discriminated to be a fault, the corresponding page retransmission request is given to a sending side communication control program equipment 4. The equipment 4 informs the said page retransmission request to a facsimile OS control program device 3. The facsimile OS control program equipment 3 repeats the transmission processing from the start of the said page to its end from a data base file 2 via the communication control program equipment 4.
