In a diskette recording process, in which the recording takes place onto a disc-shaped recording medium (100) with a radially coaxial or spiral recording track (N; N+1), which is subdivided into a predetermined number of a plurality of recording sectors (101; 103), serving in each case as a recording unit, ID information such as a track number and a sector number of a recording sector (101; 103) intended for recording are stored in addition to the recording data on the recording sector intended for recording.
