METHOD FOR DETECTING TEMPERATURE DISTRIBUTION IN SHAFT FURNACE

PURPOSE:To make it possible to imagewise and quantitatively measure the temp. distribution of the charging surface of a shaft furnace, by obtaining temp. data by imagewise scanning the charging surface by an infrared camera and an image processor. CONSTITUTION:The charging surface of a shaft furnace 10 is scanned by infrared camera 20 and the output thereof is inputted to an image processor 30 while image processing such as the removal of noise is applied to said output to store the same in a buffer 31. A process control calculator 40 for the shaft furnace 10 takes in temp. data through a communication circuit 41 to store the same in a file 42 and necessary processing and judgement are performed on the basis of the temp. data. The processing result by the calculator 40 is displayed on a display device 50.
