Herbicidal composition comprising: a. A herbicidally effective amount of a salt of N-phosphonomethylglycine which is acceptable in agriculture; b. At least one humectant whose capacity of absorbing moisture is essentially equivalent to that of sorbitol; c. Inert adjuvants; and d. Water, in which the ratio of a to b is between approximately 1/33 and approximately 5/1 by weight.
