PURPOSE:To evacuate air or a volatile material from a space formed by a top force and a bottom force by closing the space formed by the top force and the bottom force around the lower dead point and thereafter by clamping the mold under reduced pressure. CONSTITUTION:A bottom force 3 is charged with a resin material 7. Next, by driving a top force 5 down and contacting a closed board 10 with a packing 11b preset on the bottom force 3, a space formed by the top force 5, the bottom force 3 and the closed board 10 becomes closed. The air inside the closed space is evacuated through an intake and exhaust hole 12 and maintained under reduced pressure by switching a valve 18 to a vacuum unit 14. While the downward movement of the top force 5 is continued, the resin material 7 is moved along the die, while being compressed, toward the position of the lower dead point and the molding is finished by means of compression into the molded shape. After the die is maintained under a specific pressure for a specific time, the valve 18 is opened, the ram 4 is lifted up to release the mold and the molding is taken out of the mold.
