摘要 PURPOSE:To accurately measure the charge quantity of the partial discharge generated in machinery, by constituting the titled apparatus to that partial discharge is detected acoustically and the detection signal is operationally processed to accurately measure the charge quantity of partial discharge. CONSTITUTION:The signals outputted from ultrasonic detectors 6-1-6-n are guided to a time difference measuring device 9 and a peak detector 10 through amplifiers 7-1-7-n. The time difference measuring device 9 judges detection order to measure the time difference DELTAt between a first detection signal and a second detection signal, and the peak detector 10 measures the max. amplitude P of the first detection signal. A distance operator 11 calculates the distance (l) up to a partial discharge area on the basis of the time difference DELTAt and the position of the detector outputting the first and second signals. A charge quantity operator 12 calculates the charge quantity Q of partial discharge to the magnitude of an ultrasonic signal on the basis of the data preliminarily measured using the distance as a parameter.
