发明名称 LINEAR POSITIONING SENSOR FOR SERIAL PRINTER
摘要 PURPOSE:To reduce an error of a printing position, by a construction wherein a rod form magnet magnetized at regular intervals is embedded in a part of a guide shaft, and the sensor for a magnetic signal is provided on a carrier at the position opposed to the magnet. CONSTITUTION:A carrier 2 with a printing hammer 1 mounted thereon is moved leftward and rightward by a stepping motor 4, with a timing belt 3 as a transmitting means. The carrier 2 is guided without any chattering around a guide shaft 6, by a bearing 5. Therefore, even in the case of a reactional force at the time of printing or a vibration at the time of the reversion of the moving direction of the carrier 2 at a right or left end, an error in the movement is smallest in the vicinity of the bearing 5. A rod form magnet 7 magnetized at regular intervals is embedded in a part of the guide shaft 6, and a magnetic sensor 8 disposed opposite to the magnet 7 generates pulses at intervals of 1/360-1/1440 in by crossing the magnetic flux generated by the magnet 7. By counting the pulses, a printing position can be calculated, and a printing timing can be generated. Accordingly, an error of the printing position is reduced.
