PURPOSE:To prevent the magnification of the jetting of a breaker and to improve the uniformity of a tire, by pressing the breaker against the central portion in the circumferential direction of a green carcass and a breaker ring with a pressing apparatus. CONSTITUTION:After a breaker 6 and a tread 7 are successively stuck on the peripheral surface of a pair of breaker rings 4, a pressing roller 10 is advanced with the forward movement of an air cylinder 24 and abutted against the tread 7 and presses the breaker 6. Simultaneously a breaker ring 4 and a former 5 are synchronously initiated to rotate. As the pressing roller 10 is made of elastic member, its shape is full of variability and follows very well to the step deviation of the joint part of the breaker 6. Furthermore as a breaker edge 14 has a high surface pressure, it is certainly pressurized. Additionally also as the parallelism against the breaker surface is always corrected by the use of a spring 21, the breaker 6 is certainly and strongly fixed under adhering closely on the breaker ring 4 to the central portion toward the peripheral direction of the green carcass 1. |
