PURPOSE:To obtain a phenol resin laminate controlled in silver migration and excelling in electrical properties, by performing laminate-molding after laying one prepreg formed by impregnating a base with an oil-modified phenolic resin varnish containing an epoxy resin and drying the base on the outermost surface. CONSTITUTION:In producing a laminate by laminate-molding prepregs obtained by undercoating a paper base with a water-soluble phenolic resin, impregnating the base with an oil-modified phenolic resin and drying it, said laminate molding is performed by laying one prepreg obtained by impregnating a base with a varnish obtained by adding 10-50wt% (in terms of solid matter) epoxy resin to the oil-modified phenolic resin and drying it on the outermost surface. Because the obtained laminate has a layer containing an epoxy resin on its surface, the hygroscopicity of the surface on which a conductive circuit is formed is lowered and silver migration can be controlled. When the amount of the epoxy resin added is below 10wt%, the effect of preventing silver migration is small, and when its is above 50wt%, workability is lowered because mold release in releasing the laminate from the mirror plate after the laminate molding is worsened.
