PURPOSE:To improve the plastic anisotropy of a cold rolled sheet by specifying conditions during finish hot rolling, eliminating the annealing of a hot rolled sheet and directly cold rolling the sheet. CONSTITUTION:In a hot rolling stage, finish hot rolling is carried out at a finishing temp. T( deg.C) and a draft R(%) in the final pass within the range defined by straight lines (a)-(e) represented by formulae I-V in the diagram. The annealing of a hot rolled sheet between hot rolling and cold rolling stages is eliminated and the hot rolled sheet is directly cold rolled. By this method, a cold rolled sheet having small plastic anisotropy is obtd. in spite of the eliminated annealing and the hot rolled sheet is made soft, so restrictions on the cold rolling of the sheet are relaxed.
